I was led to freelancing back in 2015 after a nine-to-five job drained every last ounce of creativity and joy from my body. Since I quit trying to follow the way of the world, I’ve been flooded with opportunities and met some truly inspiring people.
Over the years, I’ve been invited to share my words in various outlets. I wrote hard news for a digital startup called Kicker. I blogged for small businesses ranging from home renovation to natural health companies. I overhauled website content for a digital marketing agency. I blogged for celebrities like the Jersey Shore cast and Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson. I dove deep into pop culture for a short-lived brand called Vocally. I tried all kinds of crazy life and beauty hacks and honed in on beauty and style for Little Things and Revelist (now CafeMom). I wrote product reviews and features for StackCommerce’s diverse array of publishers and brands. And today, I’m writing commerce and culture content for Mashable.
It’s been quite the journey. And I can’t wait to see where I’ll go tomorrow.
Here are a few of my favorite things I’ve worked on over the years:
